Do "JN online" transcrevemos: por Francisco Pinto A coordenadora dos Afectados pelas Grandes Barragens e Transvases, secção em Portugal, denunciou a existência de gravuras rupestres na margem do rio Sabor, local para onde está prevista uma barragem. A Coordenadora dos Afectados pelas Grandes Barragens e Transvases (Coagret), secção em Portugal, aproveitou a festividades que decorrem no Santo Antão da Barca, concelho de Alfândega da Fé, para denunciar as gravuras de arte rupestres que não estão inventariadas. A iniciativa foi considerada como uma acção de protesto contra actos de alegado "vandalismo" e atentados ao património arqueológico existente nas margens do rio Sabor. De recordar que aquela área ficará submersa aquando do enchimento da futura barragem do Baixo Sabor, que deverá estar concluída em 2012. Disjointed and Senseless
It’s All Coffee, Smoke and Booze Sometimes I feel the only things that flow in my veins are nicotine, alcohol and caffeine. For good reason, my latest tests showed I am anemic and I have low blood pressure. Hmmmm….Can I die from too much coffee? I’m sure nicotine kills and so does alchohol. I always thought I’d die from a bottle of sleeping pills which I don’t take anymore anyway (on hindsight, maybe I should so I can sleep and maybe up my red blood cell count) or that I would be a shut in at some point in my adult life despite all the superficial fun I’m having now with perfunctory friends and still take a bottle of sleeping pills to end all the fun just because I don’t think this is what I really want. Live a Life That Will Matter I always wanted to pass from this world and leave a part of my life that people will always remember me by. errr. i read Twilight na. i was sorely tempted during my jeepney ride yesterday afternoon. binuksan ko siya at hindi ko na tinigilan. and if only my better, GC-er judgement--and my finances allowed it, i would be reading New Moon today.i won't make a review, mostly because this book has been, err...too much of a topic already--although i cannot entirely say overrated, as the book is good. this book was recommended to me even before the whole freakin' world decided to swoon over it--shame i only read it now, making me seem like just another one of those mainstream readers, as i like to call them. well, except perhaps, for the fact that i devour and breathe books.something else that sets me apart from majority--though not all--of those who have drooled over Meyer's series (more specifically, over Edward Cullen the Great), is that, one: i didn't drool over Edward. haha. forgive me for not going gaga over his perfection. it actually left me rather troubled because he...
